Mind Your Own Business

I got a lot of feedback on my blog last two days and I can see that "Mind Your Own Business" is quite a misunderstood concept. People have different meanings attached to it. Some feel that mind your own business means, being indifferent, others feel it is being insensitive.
Mind your business is infact one of the shortest ways to rising to success. To mind your own business means to stay focussed on your work and only on those things that will contribute towards making your work better.
Mind your own business means not being distracted with issues or things that will take your focus away from your duty and your work.
And lastly mind your own business means to define what is expected of you at work and then to over deliver :O)
All successful people mind their own business, and all people with mediocre thinking mind other people's business. They have enough time to keep an eye on what is going on in other people's lives and work and pay no or little attention to what they are supposed to do.
Minding your own business is the only route to deliver excellence and the shortest route to success.
So get to work and mind your own business :O)

There is a time to work and there is a time to play, when u are at work u should work, and when its over, if you want to hang out with your coworkers, u invite them to your home or a nearby place and share your day. i guess there is exceptions to every rule i mean if u see your coworkers upset you should give them help but dont forget, you are there to work.

That is soo true. There is no point in losing one's own focus and getting into other people's businesses. Our limited resources might as well be used for our own success.

That is so true. People generally believe mind your own business, is a rude thing or a different version of saying go away, but its literal meaning is just perfect. Do your work coz you are paid/earning because of that, not because of interfering into other things happening around you.
Thanks for the insight :)

I completely second Priya's thought."Mind your Own Business" is all about taking care of what you have comitted to and what's there on your plate. They say that if you can manage & lead yourself you are a "True Leader".So as the old saying goes "Charity beigns @ Home".Today with the "Change" being the only "Consatnt" thing we all have to get right things @ right time and the key to this is "Manage you time and Business will be taken care of".

Thank You Priya.
